How would you fish this weed bed during the crappie spawn and why? This might help others catch more fish and maybe teach an old dog a new trick. You can describe from boat, bank, doodlesocking, ECT.... Lets see what we can come up with...

First break or suspended females in the middle of the cove why you guys chase the little males that three other boats have already fished.

Strolling and/or spider riggin the ladies out in 8 to 10ft of water...

Then what Chatt said would be next for the males.
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D

Hip or chest waders with a 7 t 10 ft rod fishing vertically while moving very quitely through the weeds, been done many times in past at the Grove, and unbelievable results. DK

This is the type of cover i plan on trying with kayak this spring as new tactic in the past its been long jigging rod double rigged. Even if we dont have flooded vegitation this spring hoping to find thick timber and not bump in it to much to scare fish out.

Looks like a spot at Hillsdale. I would use a long pole and chest waders. Stay out in the open water if possible, and dip into every nook and cranny I could get my jig in. This and the thickest possible brush is my favorite to wade and dip in.

I would normaly pass on this and find some lumber to fish. But if they are there a 2-3" curl tail with a 1/16 oz slider rigged weedless.
