There a few nice crappie left on in the rock. One was even a 2lb black crappie!! All the fish were in 18ft of water on structure. Hardest part was not catching fish but finding a parking spot with all the snaggers out. Friday fished by myself and caught 15 of the nicest crappie that I have ever caught on the rock. Saturday two of us went out and caught 26 nice keepers. Sure was nice to catch them on the rock. Color did not seem to matter just had to find the right brush pile. One pile had 15 keepers on it Saturday. Good luck to everyone!!

Way to go. Been awhile since I have see some good fish from the rock

    Sent from my phone
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

March seems to be game on for crappie on the Rock. Last year it was awesome during March as well. We seen water ranging 50-54 degrees this past Friday and Saturday when we were down around Cape Fair.
