Default Had a Pretty Decent Saturday Night

Went with son and our better halves and had a pretty good night. Minnows and Jigs. Matter of fact I was using my new Black Widow 1/4oz. Jig as the weight below the minnow and was doing better with the jig. Catch a good solid fish and the minnow would be still ready to go back in . These fish are extremely fat and healthy heavy for their size. My Son and Wife hold a couple. Keep in mind the lake is down over 9' and still falling. Also it was over 6 pounds of fillet's.

We lost 2 catfish (at least I think that is what they were) bigger, one much bigger. Darn thing hit and I set the hook and he pulled drag and took me into wood and hung my jig up. He was still on for a bit because he kept pulling every time I popped the line, but finally broke the hook off and got lose. Ended up losing my jig and hook both on separate drops.

Very pretty catch there! I get a couple of those catfish every now and again. They make for some nice filets!
