    Default your cleaning station...

I fish about anywhere there is water, but usually always, come home to clean the fish I keep here at the house. I have really been thinking
about my cleaning situation. I have used an old piece of countertop for years, and have it balanced over the top of a trash can, so that
I can slide the remains straight into the trash can. I have an idea I am thinking about building. However, I am a believer in "why reinvent
the wheel". So, what do your cleaning stations look like?

    Just wondering!

I made a table from scrap 2x4s with a 3' piece of counter top. then drilled a 3 5/8" hole @ the back right of the top, & attached a piece of 4" dryer pipe on the bottom side of the cut out. Put a pail under the pipe, slide fish carcass down the pipe

I have a bunch of polyethyene sheets from a grocery stores meat dept. I even have the stainless steal table.

The smaller sheets work great indoors for fish and the table in the garage for large fish and deer.

Clean up is simple and they will last forever.

I use three 5 gallon buckets, a plastic cutting board, a tall kitchen trash bag, and a folding chair. Fish from the livewell go in one bucket. Cutting board goes on top of the second bucket. Trash bag goes into the third bucket. I sit on a folding chair and slide the fish carcasses into the trash bag bucket as I go. I then put the carcasses into the freezer until trash day. Whole setup is cheap, quick, easy, can be setup anywhere, and works well for me.

This is one at my uncle's fishing cabin in Florida. I took some pics of it & will copy it here at home for my use.

Here's mine, built on the side of my shop almost at arm level so I don't have to bend over. Plywood covered with 99 cent adhesive tile and a kitchen sprayer. The plastic container underneath slides out for the carcasses.

It's underneath the porch on the side of my shop shop I'm not effected by the weather and it's under a ceiling fan. Makes it real nice in the summer!!
