I have a Riverhawk B60 that I fish out of. Its been a great boat and an affordable way to get out on the water.
One problem. The gel coat on the starboard side is loosing it's shine. This is the side that sits in the sun when I'm sitting at work wishing I was fishing...the other side sits in the shade and doesn't appear to have any problems.
A friend told me it is gel coat oxidation and it's easy to fix with a buffer and some kind of "compound" (???). He's going to loan me his buffer so I went looking for the compound today...lots of stuff to choose from and I don't know if I'm getting the right stuff or a good brand name.
Can anyone help with any recommendations?
Thanks
