Martin Lake

Has anyone fished Martin Lake lately. Was wondering about the water temperature and how the crappie fishing was. Taking the wife and kids somewhere in a week. Looks like a cold front will be comming through later in the week and since we will be tent camping I am considering Martin Lake. Thanks

I have only fished Martin a time or two, so don't put this in stone. I have had good luck recently with a 1/16 oz jig and white curl tail grubs and always keep a few minnows with me. With a boat, I would think that you could find them. A lot of people put out brush around their docks there. Find brush in 5 to 12 feet of water and you'll find the fish.
