Nice mess of fish Brian. Was good talking to you today. Also with Dafar, Beagleman and his partner.
Went back down to the Grand today which turned out to be a great day for fishing and meeting new CDC members. after running into Jared I found out the crappie were back shallow again, fished in 15 to 17 fow water and 2 to 4 feet down.
I tried spider rigging again today and had my first real success at it, but had several tangled up messes through out the day because at first I noticed every time I would make a sharp turn in the boat the fish would hit, so I spent most of the day zig zaging which work pretty good. Had so much fun today I might have to try it again tomorrow if the rain holds off.
Used minnows and jigs today and I think the minnows won.

Way to go Brian. Looks like some good eating. Wanted to go today, but Mama had too many projects for me.
Good job. A day sure can make a difference.
Way to go Brian, we caught a few today also. Talked with MarknKC today also, saw lots of boats today. Was a beautiful day for sure!
Nice job Brian.

nice job, good eats!!
NIce limit. I haven't caught a limit of crappie since December of last year I'd say. Been busy goggle eye and walleye fishing instead. I'm about to start solely focusing back on the specks though.
New goal 16" crappie by December 30
Were you the guy I asked about the spider rigging setup near the dam area?
