    ok so i just got my catalp/black stripe and yellow/black stripe beetle spins in the mail today from bass pro and they are 1/16 ounce..but they are still a little big for the bluegill here i think so i will try the 1/32 ounce....what do you guys think?

    how big are the bluegill you plan on catching? i've caught 6" bluegill on 1/16oz beetlespins before.

    1/16th will work just fine. Thats all I use.

    Cachuma I rarely fish with anything smaller than a 1/16oz out here in California. You should be fine using them. Especailly with the size of the Crappie and Bluegill out here!! Good luck.
