Hello New from Louisiana.
Hello fellow Socalait (crappie) fisherman. Just joined today. Ive been fishing my pond behind my house with alot of success when the temp reaches the upper 70s and low 80s. Last year this time it was in that temp. but now its cooler in the 60s and i find that the fish are suspended so i wanted to try and old trick i used to do at kentucky lake and troll. im using two 1/32 jigs about afoot apart on the same line. but cant really tell how deep they are running. i want to run in about 4-6ft of water. last year i pulled two tiny crankbaits on two different poles. and had success. but not working this time.
Btw. just last weekend. i was tossing a curly tail 1/48 with a cork about 6foot from the bank and caught 4 big black males in the same spot. but it wasnt fast (about 30 Mins). they were all cut up and i assume from fanning beds? if so does this mean the females are to follow?
