    It depends on where you put in at. on 24 there is the Store on 77 there is a store right across the road from the boat launch.

    I have never fished the lake, so any suggestions on boat launches and bait stores would be most appreciated. Want to take my son who will be out of school next week on spring break. thanks.

    There are 2 stores fairly close to the creek & both sell minnows. The best ramp is the St. Clair county public ramp. The ramp on Hwy #411 is very narrow and shallow. Its fine if the water is up from winter level but its a little low now.
