    Default New to crappie fishing...

I've done some bass fishing in the past, and haven't fished in a while due to hectic schedule and the such. I am wanting to start going after Crappie. I would like to hear all input from best reel/ rod combos, to best lures/bait, and any other good starting tips. Thanks in advance!

best advice is to start reading the various forums, especially your local state forum, will learn lots of insights/tips/tricks etc in a short time. Some good people on here who would even give you a free demo ride to show how they fish, whether it be spider rigging, jiggin, longlining, etc.,
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
