    Default Upgrading My Jon Boats...pics

Crappie Jon is fully functional now. Probably use it until Ky Lake reaches Summer Pool.

Also working on War Eagle Predator. Got the paint touched up and buffed out. Looks brand new.

Gotta put all my "stuff" back on the boat, but am still waiting on parts to finish my autopilot. The autopilot is a challenging project. I consider it a Alzheimer buster. This project keeps my thinker keenly refreshed. It will work. Just takes time.

I making my own autopilot. It will follow gps routes by steering the V2, I don't have to go out and record a track like the Ipilot. I can pre program my routes. Should work for pulling jigs.

Autopilot is almost finished. I can select between Ipilot, Foot Pedal, and Autopilot. I have V2 so I had to make a box to allow foot control. i just expanded the box to include autopilot. Autopilot is the clear box. It's just a Plano waterproof tackle box. It will do the purpose.

OK, let me get this straight. You are basically making your V2 which only has AutoPilot able to run tracks like the I-pilot, the only diff being you will have to manually adjust your speed? Please explain what you mean by you dont have to record the track like the I-pilot does, I am very intrested in this, it seems like the invention of the year.

I like the little boat a lot. They are so comfortable to fish out of when set up right. The predator is what I would go to if I sold my current boat, but my rich uncle still in the poor house. Good work Tom.

Boat looks good CP like brand new. That Black No-Skid is that sprayed on or is it self adhesive?
