    Default Jig and Minnow Rigs

How does everyone fish their jig and minnows? I was thinking about a minnow on a crappie hook on a loop knot 12" above a 1/16th oz jig.

    Default Jig and Minnow Rigs

    Not sure what your asking...
    I fish a lot " jig under a bobber"
Casting a 1/32 jig head with a tube under a weighted bobber, fishing tops.

Also I do a lot of vertical jigging, 1/8 jig head with tube, tight lining.

I absolute see no reason for using minnows.

The question is simple enough. Smoothlures, that's a good question for this forum. Many people do it different ways - depends upon where you fish, weather conditions, water depth, etc. Double drop shot rigs in combination with jigs/minnows and weight placement is a specific technique that some find very productive on there home lakes.

Think of it as a double jig rig but the top jig is a minnow hook instead of a 2nd jig.
