A well working fluid bed make for a happy painter good to hear you had success on your first attempt.
I got everything put together this afternoon. I need to thank Bugman for a SUPER FAST turn-around on my order.
I got into the shop and assembled the fluid bed and got antsy, so I got a couple jigs and the lighter out to try it out. I dumped in a little powder and thought "I better be careful and not let the paint "explode" like some of you guys had done, so I turned the air flow completely off, and slowly adjusted it up untill I got a boiling effect, then swirled the bed, and sure enough, it all smoothed out, and worked perfectly.
I sure am glad all you other guys posted your solutions to problems, so I could steer away from them. Mainly because I thought the things that were done, were good ideas.
I will try to post up some pictures tomorrow of the fluid bed and a couple of the jigs I painted with it.
