    Correct.
If you are planning on only using the US2 sonar from the Minn Kota than you should have saved some money and bought the 858c Combo or newer 858c HD Combo (2D sonar only) units.

Greg I have question, not trying to hijack the mans thread. Is there a switch that can be installed where you could run DI ducer on transom and then use the 2d on trolling motor?

There can be Cray, but it would really depend on which DI model unit you have. For the 858c HD DI model that gill daddy has he could use a TS3 Transducer Switch and make the needed changes in the Connected Transducer menu each time he changed. This is only possible because the 800, 900 and 1100 series DI units all have the standard 200/83kHz 2D sonar capability (the 300, 500 and 700 series DI units do not).

Thanks Greg. That's good info. I have wondered about about that because I'm buying something and have terrova with built in Ducer. Run a Stick steer and really only need 1 unit. Thanks again for your reply. Appreciate all the time you give us on here doing research and finding answers.
