RARELY EVER USE ANYTHING BUT A GNAT OR JIG . MINNOWS ON BOTH . ALWAYS A MINNOW ON GNAT NOT SO WITH THE JIG .I AM A JIGGER FOR FUN 90% OF THE TIME . WHEN I SLOW TROLL FOR MEAT A MINNOW BUCKET IS ALWAYS CLOSE .

I never use minnows but do use bronze jig hooks.

Good question, back in the day when I minnow fished alot there was only silver and gold and I used the silver then later in life the gold. Now when I use a minnow, its on a jig.
