Question about my son and I joining

My 12 yr old son and I are interested in joining the club and fishing a few tournaments. I was looking on the Indiana Slab Masters website and seen the following:
"Any competitor under the age of 18 will require approval of IN Slab Masters Officials."

Is there something i need to do to get my son approved? or can we just show up the day of the tournament to get our memberships?

I couldn't imagine their being any issue. Tom or Jim will chime in, but I'd say show up and fish.

Thanks for the replies. Where will the sign in be the morning of the tournament?

We will be at Cutright ramp at 5:30am until 6:30am signing people up.
We will also have the early registration at the Summer House INN on Friday 5:00 - 6:30 pm the night before.
