    Default Lowrance Elite 5X DSI


    Which is the better unit the 5 DSI or the 5 X DSI. Does both have GPS ? The 5x is 50 bucks cheaper but I want GPS to mark brush piles. Thanks.

    The Elite 5X does not have GPS ... the Elite 5 DSI does have GPS.

    Understand, though ... that Lowrance DSI units do not have the regular 2d (cone) sonar.

    Take a look thru my sticky thread on the Elite 5 DSI (top of page) ... and you'll find a lot of good info.
