Default OK GRIZZ, got your Jig pic Plus a couple

Here is what I think you wanted to see and I also threw in a couple of other new little jigs for comment. Also a bigger view of my sig pic so I can see if anyone likes the new Tiger (don't know what else to call the Black/Orange) jig. Maybe if I knew the name of them big (really big) Black and Orange fuzzy looking ants I see from time to time.

I have never tied any of these little jigs with only thread and tail until last week. Guess I need to get a little more supply of hair for these.

Nice looking jigs. Are they for personal use or do you sell them?

Skip I have a question. The jigheads you use do you make them yourself or are you buying them with the sickle hook in them?
Hope your lines stay wet and your livewells full.:D

    Hi eastkycrappie,

I buy them, it's enough just to tie them for me. Here is the site where I get my jig heads from.

Thats a fine looking jig skip, though I had a darker chartruese/green in mind like the green in the body of the bottom 2 jigs of your sig.

The head of that jig is slightly more yellow than the hackle and the body. The Jig I used to kill em on the head was slighly greener than the body and tail. Also, those jigs were deer hair, but I think the hackle and deer hair behave almost the same in the water. The only difference being that the deer hair may allow for a slower retrieve with more resistance in the water. The quality of your jigs are better than that company made, but man I slaughtered them on that particular color.
Good things come to those who bait.

If you talking about what im picturing in my mind, we call it a cow killer, or cow ant. its not really a ant but the female of a wasp species. carrys a real nasty stinger and are tough to kill.

Then I would almost bet the color is called Bright Green and I have been looking at that color for a wile now and thinking about getting it. Look at this site and the color #21 and tell me if this is it. The color I have is FL. (Green)Chartreuse.
