Just my luck ..... After Arkyfisherman took me from twin bridges to CC and pointed out all the good spots last summer, I was really hoping I could take the wife there instead of Bolivar landing all the time and do some good this coming year. I hope the fish don't get wind of that report.
Probably won't make any difference in the amount of fish I bring home .... I guess there is not much difference in getting Skunked on Pomme or getting skunked on Stockton ?
I have not yet begun to procrastinate .....
Are prospects like assumptions?
The fishing was so good I thought it was yesterday
Beagle the old timers use to say that every third year was bad.Guess it's about that time again.Haven't been in so long i don't know if it's been bad or not.
Good read Beagle. Thanks for sharing.
I'm with you Beagle. I'm blessed with living within a hour/45 minutes of Truman, 30 minutes to Pomme, and 15 minutes to the closet ramp on Stockton. The problem is I couldn't buy a fish at Stockton last year after the spawn. I thought it was me. Based on the feedback I'm getting I'm not alone. Stockton is my home lake, but I have yet to put the boat in while I been to Truman several times. Hopefully, Stockton will bounce back. Pray for rain!!!!!
Stocktons my home lake as well. This drought hasn't helped anything. It's hard to drive an hour or more to go fishing when you live 30 minutes away from Stockton. I guess I may have to.
Thanks for the report Beagle. The only thing is that it looks like I am going to have build a bigger boat bumper to part the crowd.
