It's Official!! Indian Lake has been added to the Schedule!!!

The stars have aligned and the sponsors have stepped up--A tournament will be held at Indian Lake on November 2nd, 2013. The schedule in the sticky has been updated to show this tournament.

This will be the first regular tournament of the 2014 season, taking place after the 2013 Classic on 10/20/13. For the 2014 season, we will have 8 tournaments (Indian and 7 more in 2014 that will be named in the fall). Only 6 tournaments will count towards the point race, just as it is now, so that if you fish all 8, you'll drop your two lowest scores. Bonus points will only be awarded for folks who fish 6 tournaments--no added points for fishing 7 or 8. The chief benefit of fishing all 8 is that if you have two bad tournaments, you can drop them.

Couldn't have done this without some great sponsors, all of which are new this year--the two biggests have been the Logan County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Indian Lake Outfitters. Indian Lake Outfitters carries bait and tackle, and has a great archery section--not far from Moundwood in Russells Point. Indian Lake Marine (Tracker Boats, among others), Indian Lake Fish & Game Club (they've not only sponsored us, but are letting us use their club house for the seminar!), Woody's Diner (BIG Ohio State fans), Newland's Resort (some nice cottages!), and the Super 8 in Bellefontaine have all helped us out tremendously. Be great if you guys stop in any of these places and let them know how much we appreciate it--even better if you can use their services!
