I purchased a Glock 23 today.

I picked up a Glock 23 today. There is not much to choose from locally and I wanted to spend my bonus money before one of my adult daughters took it from me. (they always need something) I paid $650 at The Armory in Virginia Beach. I went to Bob's gun shop twice and that place is always packed. I could not even find a place to park today. I know getting ammo will be tough but I have a few rounds for home defense. I know there are a lot of quality guns out there and I am still interested in a Springfield XD with stainless steel slide but I guess I will have to wait until my next bonus.
