Wow! I like the second pic the best but the top ones look great! This will discribe how much I like them the most. I will be willing to try them out. LOL. Great Job there!
I have been thinking and talking to friends that also tie jigs and I just decided to tie a couple of 1/32oz. jigs, 2 with #6 hooks and 1 with #8 hook. Anyway here is what I am trying and would love to know you good people's thoughts and comments.
Also the 2nd one is a new (to me at least) variegated chenille I am tying and would like to know if any of you like it as much as I do. Keep in mind other color heads and tails also can be tied on this color (Matt came up with Black Head and Black Tail & I like that too). Please excuse my photos because I seem to be having a little trouble today with that (the coin is a penny).

they all look good to me but I haven't seen a jig you have tied look bad. Good work.
Hope your lines stay wet and your livewells full.:D
It take a little time to really get it, but keep trying! My first ones didn't look so great either, LOL!Originally Posted by ShilohRed

They look great.
Seems that the smaller and more compact they are the better they are. Low profile seems to be the key recently for me anyway. Basic colors have worked, such as white head, red thread, yellow or chartruce tail.
Mud-Dabber
those look hot to me, skip. when will you try them out?
Getting to try out anything right now is tuff because this lake is so low and still falling from the Sun as well as them generating electricity. The worst part is due to lack of rain we never recovered from last year so the lake only got back to still being 4 1/2' low as the high this year. Now we are running about 8 1/2' down so I am not going as much.Originally Posted by willsjwills
I was hoping to go this AM, but it didn't work out so maybe next weekend. Heck I still have probably (new to me) 8 variegated colors I have not been able to get wet.
Very frustrating,

i know how you feel, buddy. rainfall here is about 100 inches short for the year. tenn-tom is kept to pool stage by water from the tenn. river. fishing has been tough for us around here because of low water. i'm watching a thunderstorm approaching aberdeen with the hopes it will hit us. my lawn mower is in retirement because of the drought. trees are dying fro m lack of rain. global warming? maybe fall will bring rains. good talking to ya, skip. good luck in your part of the world. by the way, do you know of a man by the name of ramond gauthier? he had a marina on toledo bend. from south la., originally.
