    Default Caught these last week...

The crappie are still hitting pretty good here in Georgia at night...first pic was from last wednesday and the second is from last friday night. Caught them all on minnows and shad... Caught over 120 crappie and 40 or so catfish in the 3 nights we fished.

Man that's a lot of fish. When is the fish fry? I'll bring the beer!!!!!!!

Caught them on minnows and threadfin shad. Run out of minnows and had to catch some shad with my umbrella net but that didn't slow down the bite. They seemed to like the shad more.

Nice mess of fish there, great job. I just wish my lake here was not so low. Combined with hot, did I say hot weather and low lake levels and still falling the bite here is not what it usually is.

I had a bad trip Friday night, we were out from about 8PM to 12 and plenty of bites without taking it and we managed only 8 fish in the box. Threw back probably another 8-10. The worst of it all was my wife boating more fish than I did, LOL!

A normal year we would have kept about 25-30 fish on a night like that. It's getting pretty frustrating here for sure. Lake is about 8' low now and since this lake is over 205,000 acres it takes a lot of water to fix our problem.
