    Default Powder paint RR

    Men,
Its probably on here somewhere. But I'm trying to paint my rrunners in the fluid bed. But they still get paint in the eye and swivel. I've got good fluffy air in the fluid bed. ( looks like water barely boiling ) . I'm I getting the head to hot ?

You will have to cover the crane swivel or cool them before coating the head. I use heat shrink to cover the crane, fatman uses tinfoil and some dips the crane in water to cool em before coating. I hold the jigs by the eye to keep the paint from coating them. If it was easy a caveman would want to do it lol

I use tin foil to cover the swivel and all eyes I paint and clean with a tooth pick before the cure.

I cover the swivel with tin foil and dip, it's easy enough to squeeze on the paint and use a pin to push the paint out. Just don't forget to take the tin foil off before curing.
