Default a new spidder rigging question

I just wanted to ask, since in this state we can only troll with three poles

what length poles would you use, all the same length or a mix?

would you set all off one side in the front of the boat or spread out in front both sides, I've made up my mind on the reels, rods and holders just need alittle help with the spread and rod length

thank you all for your help

We've got the same regulations here, so when I'm by myself I usually use two 12' rods and 10' Jig pole. I prefer to hold the jig pole while slowly pushing the other two rods.

    thanks guys

I guess I should have said the water I fish is mostly a light to medium stained

    feelay,
my fishin buddies wives wont let them invest in more than three or four rigs and most of them are cat riggs so its a three pole set up for me lol, would you do two 14's and a 16ft putting the 16 on the outside of the spread......... thank you sir

thank you meatgetter, I figured at least 14's but with only 3 I didnt think that would be much of a spread

all I know about spidder rigging is what I have found and read on this site...........alot of info but some small details that I need to hash out lol ...... got to save money I dont want to do this twice

    again thank you all

3 poles only on grenada, the rest you can use 5. still only 2 hooks per pole. with a partner on your lakes you can run 6 , 3 out each side.

On 2 of the 3 lakes I fish here in Alabama we have a 3 pole per person rule. When fishing by myself I will use 14 ft poles and put 1 straight out the front and 1 out each side of the front 1. I don't put the 2 side poles straight out the sides but sort of at a 45 degree angle, it helps to keep them all within your line of vision to see bites. I will adjust the position of the 2 side poles to get all 3 over the cover when needed. As you get experence it will all fall into place. Hope this helps and let us know how it works out for you.
