Hey Jake -
Have you tweaked the sensitivity level?
Also, older condos might not show up as nice as a new bushy condo.
I found my brother's old Humminbird Wide Vision and ordered a transducer from the company. Put it all together tuesday and went out wednesday, but have no luck seeing any of the condos I put out. I like the size of the screen, but I don't think I will like it too much if it is just a glorified depth finder and themometer. I know that I am over the Condos and I know that I hooked everything up right, I just get the contour of the bottom and the depth. I think the cheap eagle cuda that I have been using has better view of the structure and bottom. Does anyone know anything about these things. Is there a way to set the unit to see the condos, they're bamboo, or am I just using a unit that does not have the capabilities I am looking for. I do like the size of the screen and the temp feature, but it does me no good if there is no structure being shown.

Sounds like you need to adjust the sensitivity and it will work better.
Pete
I have fiddled with the sensitivity with no difference in structure, but I did find a manual online and will try something new today. If it works I will be pleased. Let you know how it goes. Also the condos are one week to three months old.
