Default 15 HPJohnson Boat Motor Cowling

I have a boat motor that is missing the the cowling hood. The motor is a 1993 Johnson 15 HP model J15EETB. Everywhere I look on the Internet says they are discontinued or obsolete! I need this hood, where can I find one?

used johnson outboard motor parts - Yahoo! Search Results

without looking there's several places you may not have checked on. or you could type in evinrude outboard parts and find one. i would think they are still the same.

Vans Sport Center 616-364-0666, www.vanssports.com in Grand Rapids, MI. I called them a few years back and ordered parts for a 1971 Merc 9.8 and had a good experience. Also called Indy Boat Salvage at 317-786-0666, but can't remember much about what they had. Good luck.

Welcome to Twin City Outboard - Parts from 1906 to Present

I have no experience with them, yet! Seen them advertise on Midwest Outdoors. Midwest Outdoors also did a 20-30 minute segment on them. Owner seemed like a decent guy, and they have a ton of old motors and parts. The promo segment left a positive impression on me, so I added them to my favorites. Ill be calling them when I have a need for parts on my 1957 18hp Johnson.

That motor very rarely needs parts. What an old workhorse.

When you get the new cowling, are you going to put 15 hp stickers on it? Most officers are pretty wise to the 9.9 stickers on the 15 motor. Unless you are going take the ID plate off the mount too.

Ranger690 has a point but I'd put the 9.9 stickers on it as long as your not running WOT on HP restricted lakes I don't think anyone pays attention .

Default 15 HPJohnson Boat Motor Cowling

I'm not planning on deceiving anyone about my motor. I just don't have a hood for it and I want it to look good.

Didn't mean to imply you were but either cowling will work on that motor just depends witch one you can find .
