Looks good....I would say there is some fish around those deeper piers!

The clearer the water, the deeper and darker you want the dock. I prefer enclosed boat houses because they generally provide more shade than open docks.

Was there any structure around the piers?

those look like they would hold some fish. In the 3rd pic, I would try down the center line of the dock (inbetween the blue chairs and the boat) in the shade way back in the darkest shade 1st, and then try other areas close to the support poles. Try shooting past the poles, and letting the lure fall to different depths then start the retrieve, and bring the lure along side the pilings.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I usually fish floating dock because even if the water goes down theres not be that open area between the water and the dock so it will be darker under the dock. I also look for ropes tied from the docks straight to the water because some people tie and sumerge trees and structure to atract crappie.

There is a small amount of structure. There is a lot more that is not yet underwater. The depth varies for about 8-16' with a water temp of 48.F. I tried multiple jig heads and colors. I must not be going slow enough or something. That was my second trip out and still no luck.
