question about long shoals at lake Oconee?
Is this the public boat ramp just before Lawrence shoals off of Ga hwy 16? Also is there any camping there..its been a while.bit just found out Lawrence shoals doesn't open till march 1st...I'll be coming from Macon up 129.....any info will be appreciated...thanks folks..

I do know Lawrence doesn't open till march 1st..the wife has a week off coming up and wanted to take her fishing at Oconee, but since its an eighty mile pull I was hoping to stay up that way a few days.

You may be able to park your camper at Sugar Creek Marina just passed the Sugar Creek Public boat ramp. They rent cabins and trailers. Just google them for the number. Good Luck.
