Correct...even the unit itself is physically the same size..the 898 just has a smaller screen...

One note here...

The 2012 (and older) 800 & 900 series units used CCFL backlighting..
The 2013 model 800 & 900 series units use LED backlighting...

There are still a few of the 2012 models at dealers and they are discounting these units considerably to clear the store shelves of the "CCFL" backlit models...

If you think you'd be OK with a CCFL backlit unit, call your favorite dealer and ask if they have any of the "CCFL" backlit units...
