    fished east fork today with TBone...air temp 25 @ 10am...lake is open... we had to use to ramp at the dam... some ice in back of coves... upper end muddy & temp was 38.4 ... lower end lite stain color... temp 38.8 ... a little cool and a little windy... very slow bite we had a good bag of white with 1 real nice black all fish came on 1/16 oz jigs. in 8-14 fow... @ 4pm we could not see across the lake the snow was covering the ramp so we had to go...

    Way to go! I envy the Guys that can fish in that Mountain Man whether! Gonna try it one day.

    I've seen pictures of Larry, T-Bone and Doug using their boats as ice breakers to move to open spots! I generally don't mind the cold, but can't seem to keep my hands warm, even using the 10 hour handwarmers. Once they're wet, I'm toast.

    Knowing East Fork and the conditions, bet the jig had some chartreuse in it.
