Default Great Morning On The Lake Today

Went to my honey hole again this morning, I was on the water fishing at 6am fishing with minnows
and a chartreuse jig. I was in 13' of water and they were biting from 7-10' deep. Water temp was
55.7° and virtually no wind and a cloud cover. They bit fast until 8:15 but from then until 9am
I only caught 4 so I called it a day. I don't know what it is about 8:15 but they have quit at that
time a lot before. It was a great day though because I ended up with 47.

    Happiness is a full cooler!

I took this picture hoping to show how fat they are. Their gullets were full of shad and they are loaded
    with eggs.

These will feed a lot of the people I give fish to.

    Thumbs up

Sounds and looks like a wonderful morning and I'm sure your friends will appreciate your gifts of fillets.

(Can't find the big thumbs up emoticon so the high 5 will have to do!)

They're headed out the door this morning. I'm blessed to have those private lakes to fish in and 99.9% of the time I'm the only one fishing. It's great therapy for my PTSD so I go often and since the owners rule is that you keep every crappie to catch there's no way I could use all the crappie I catch so I pass my blessing along to those folks
