Transducer wiring???
was wandering if it is possible to splice the wiring for a transducer, mine came loose and got pinched on the trailer. Before I found where it was shorted out it would kill my motor in a heartbeat

If you are talking power wiring probably no problem. If you are talking tranducer signal wiring, be very carefull you do not shorten. It would probably be best to bite the bullet and replace with new.

They aren't too bad to splice. Solder the insulated conductor(s) and seal the joint with liquid electrical tape and heat shrink tubing. Then solder the shield, and seal the whole joint with silicon and heat shrink. The slight impedance change caused by the repair won't have much impact on the performance.
