I'm impressed. Especially since they were pulling water out of Perry. From this site http://www.nwk.usace.army.mil/water_...s/lakepool.fct I do see that they were pulling 2000 out on 7/28 and pinched it back to 500 on 7/29 and pinching in down to 25 on 7/30.
Hope you are keeping your eyes open for the tagged crappie the KDWP has put on crappie in Perry, Clinton, Hillsdale & Melvern. Don't think they tagged any this year so those tages would now just be looking like a mossy half inch long plastic pieces just below the dorsal fin. If you catch one just clip the tag off and turn it in to KDWP and it is worth from $5 to $100. Usually just $5.
Here is a map link to Clinton Lake http://www.nwk.usace.army.mil/clinto...inton_lake.jpg. Hold your cursor on the map and click and it should enlarge. If you go into the two ramps just below the Clinton State Park name on the map you will see trees out from those ramps. From those ramps you can go up Coon Creek or Deer Creek or the Old River Channel which is the Wakarusa. There is standing timber along those channels you can follow from deeper to shallower. Or follow the river channel towards the dam and work deeper trees.
I quess any good luck sentiments on my part aren't needed since you seem to be having very good success with these Kansas crappie.
