Exclamation Congratulations to the winner, Lonestar Proud!

We are having a Crappie.com contest from now through March 15th, 2013 for the "coolest" Structure Scan/Side Imaging/Down Imaging/Down Scan image that a Crappie.com member has captured on the water. The image doesn't have to be captured during the time period of the contest, but the image does need to be posted to this thread before midnight March 15th EST to be eligible. Please include some information about the shot, both to satisfy our curiosity and to improve your chances of winning. I chose the word "coolest" because I don't want to limit it to technically perfect images. I want to see the images that make people say "Wow!". That might be because the detail is great or the subject is amazing or both.

I'll hold a vote after the submissions are done to choose the winner. If there are a lot of submissions, we may have some esteemed Crappie.com members serve as judges to select a smaller group of the best images to advance to the voting round. Multiple entries by the same member are fine.

Other than the glory, honor and respect that comes from winning a Crappie.com contest, the winner will also receive the following prize package:

    colors and type may vary

    PLUS

    One 2013 Crappie.com Calendar

Post away and tell your friends! Any questions or problems, feel free to ask me.

I'll start with a picture of fish shelters. Settings are default.

This one is the upstream side of the main piling on the Mississippi railroad/car bridge at Ft Madison.
Zoom in on the right side of the structure, it looks like a spoonbill waiting for a meal.
You can make out the outlines of several fish when zooming in.

Wire drum that floated up in my yard that I returned to Davy Jones. It was hard to sink. I filled it up with bricks and guided it down with a rope as it sank. Fish love it.

The white line in the right 2d image is a 1/4 oz jig Skip made me. The di/2d are not in sync.

You can see the stages in the 2d white line (from bottom) as I staged it up to what seemed to be a fish/bait fish. The white line is the DI overlay on the 2d.

Had my jig in the "sweet spot" so I could see it as I pulled it thru the bait and feeding fish. Right is DI overlay on 2d.
