I have a box full of them and they still catch fish, and some of the colors just look better. More often than not I use a BGBS though. Casting the assassin at a blow down with a tiny head is just a better option sometimes. They also work exceptional under a float.

I like to use 'em when shooting docks, they skip on the surface pretty good to get back in those dark corners. I've been known to tip a maribou jig with 'em as well at times when looking for something to break that lock jaw every once in a while.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Agree with everyone on this. Sometimes the shorter, stubbier body works well. The lack of action seems to be the ticket on some days. Bobby Garland baits is probably my first pick for tightlining.

Only reason I asked was I was at Dick's Sporting Goods today and they got a whole bunch of colors in I had never seen. They had several glow colors and some colors that I thought might work very well. I always have alot of luck casting the crystal with blue flake on a 1/32oz jighead for trout. That used to be a great combo but since then I've been hung up on trout magnets... lol... I am sure they still work good just was curious if anyone just preferred them completely over BGBS. Any colors that you guys like alot?

The glow color assain is my go to bait when fishing with a bobber. I've been fishing them since they first came out!!! How ever long that's been.
