aren't they good tll the end on feb?
Don't forget to buy a new fishing license this week is you are between the ages of 16 and 64. Don't want anyone getting a ticket this weekend!
Make sure to get it by the end of February!

MDC Permits
The permits, unless noted otherwise on the permit itself, are valid from the date of purchase through the last day of February.
just looked it up on their website, but still would't be a bad idea to pick it up anyway.
That's a good reminder though. A month seems to go by like a week sometimes. We'll be in the spawn before we realize it yeehaw.
"It ain't gotta be high dollar to fit in at Hillbilly Holler"
yep, and they are looking for those who forget to get their license. A couple of years ago after pulling my boat out of the water at Pomme de Terre two guys from the conservation department stopped by while I was re-arranging my boat they asked me for my license....... I informed them I did NOT have a license....wow,,,,they got excited....then, I said I was over 65....ugh...well, it is still ugh...but I am feeling that...ugh....ha.
But. this is a good reminder to get next year's license,,,,just make sure it is next years.
I tried to edit the above post to say this is a good reminder for 2013 license....
Those fishing license is about all you get for free after 65.......
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
I think the license fee for seniors should be reduced 4% for every paid license they have held since age 16. In effect seniors would be free if they bought a license 1/2 the time till they were 65. I don't mind buying sporting license because I believe there are few agencies in government that put their funds to such efficient use as our Conservation Departments. Also there are few times that you get as much enjoyment for your hard earned cash as hunting and fishing permits.
My worst day of fishin' is still better than my best day at work!
