Bone Creek Lake

Anyone ever fish bone creek lake in Southeast kansas and have any good tips for the lake? I remember seeing some post about the lake before but was wanting to get some more good info on the lake if possible. Sounds like I will be fishing down there a lot this summer as work will have me down there.

I fish there 3 or 4 times a year. There's no size limit and you can keep 20. Caught mostly 9.5 to 10" fish last year. A few go larger. Blue/white jigs usually work best in main lake brush. I use the ramp by the dam. It's a good lake for channel cats too. Better sizes on cats. A bass club meet there Thursdays at 0600 I think. Don't get caught in that mess. There are some other lakes near there. Check the KFG site.

Thanks for the info Lowede. Lookin forward to figuring out a new lake. Do you know if there is a contour map of the lake anywhere, I have looked but cannot seem to find one.

I haven't seen a contour map. There's one that shows ramps and outlines of the lake out there. I think on the KFG site. It's also a pretty clear lake for Kansas.
