Default Restoring my Mother-in-Laws Bass Tracker 16' Pan Fish Boat

Well my mother-in-law wants to start fishing again and hasn't used her boat since 2006. It's in pretty bad shape, but I think I can get it cleaned up and going again. The boards on the trailer are completely rotten, the trailer tongue needs replaced, the motor will have to be checked out and repaired, lights and all electronics gone through, the entire boat is filthy and some of the wood and carpet will have to be replaced. Going to be a lot of work wish me luck. I'll post some pics as I go. Here are some pics in it's current state

That will be an awesome fishing machine when you finish. You will have a great fishing partner in your mother-in law. Congratulations.

You might be surprised when you give it a good cleaning. From looks of the seats it dosnt have a bunch of sun damage. Going to be a good project. Going to be interesting to follow your progress on this.

got some work ahead but potential is there. If you find you need some tips and such during the restore process, check out tinboatsdotnet, some good guys there that can help with most any problem you may run into.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

First stop is a car wash with a big vacuum and pressure clean everything, then start on the work part. The gunk gets in the way. I miss my 16' beer can boat.
