Though one is needed, this wasn't for me. I've been having a hard time seeing the numbers and smaller detail on my forward electronics. Marking a spot on the smaller GPS up there meant bending over. Being bent over in a bad position and taking a passing wake could cause me to go overboard, a real bad deal in this weather with all the heavy clothes. So I have had this idea bouncing around in my head for a while and finally got bored enough to make it happen. I had the channel in the garage along with the Plexiglass, and with a trip to the hardware store and a little time, here it is. Started as a set of Hi-Tek holders the I used for the risers, nylon spacers lifted the 2 pole holders back into a movable position. I can now see and handle the electronics with ease. Hope this helps someone else with issues like I had.......Skeet.
