    Default Tennessee river fishing

I am new to the site. It is very addicting!! I grew up fishing Reelfoot Lake my whole life. We just purchased a place on the Tennessee River near Deer Creek in Perry County. Looking for any advice on how to fish the area. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

lots of fishing opportunity on that part of the river, on the perry county side you have Tom's creek, crappie hollow, and Lick creek all north of the bridge.
across the river, you have lick creek decatur county side, cub creek, and heart's desire.
South of the river, are some really big creek channels that hold fish as well.

Thanks slickwater!! I was starting to get a little nervous. I love fishing new waters; however, it is really tough trying to figure new areas.

You are right in the middle of some great crappie fishing. You can go both north and south on the river and you will find fish. You are in mine and slicks neck of the woods. This is the only area I crappie fish. Just find a creek and learn where and how to fish it. You can't go wrong with any of the creeks in the area.
