Lonely on the Grand

Went to Bucksaw around 9am this morning and went up to fish the edge of the channel like I have been doing the past couple weeks, dropped the line down and pow, nice crappie on the first 20 seconds I was there, I was thinking this is going to be a fast day and a hour later that was the only crappie in my live well. I was not seeing the shad balls like I have been seeing so I started looking for them and found them in the middle of the channel in 32 to 38 fow and caught fish 12 to 15 feet down and a few from over 20, only kept crappie 11 inches and over.
Blk/grn was the main jig color today, and they were thumping it, the only ice I seen today was around the stumps. Going to go again in the morning, stopped at a friends house on the way home and he talked me out of my fish. Did not see anyone on the lake today and there was only one other truck in the parking lot.

Nothing, just didn't catch very many. and it would of been a fast day if I would of kept them.
