    Default Perry lake dam question

    Greetings from Mo.
Never been to Perry, but I see they are letting a lot of water out of the spillway.I've been able to catch some monster flatheads out of Smithville lake spillway, and want to try my pattern on Perry. Can anyone describe the spillway, fishing from the bank?
About a 2 hour drive,so I want to be prepared.
    Thanks in advance.Cook

Cook, very popular place when they are releasing water which they are now!! Good rip-rap on both sides for about 50yds. Parking is good and close. No sidewalks so hard to get over the rocks with a lot of tackle. At the end of the rock is what's left of a coffer dam. Good luck as there is some monster cats that come up from the Kansas River when the water is fast! <*)}}}><

Thats the plan, thanks for the fast reply!!Will fish with 1 rod and 1 oz. jigs,4-5 inch mr.twister or sassy shad,no snagging, the flats will hit them hard, but takes 100's of casts and a lot of lost jigs.
