    Default HYDROGLOW LED lights

I was wanting to know if anyone has used the hydroglow led's and how they compared to Bob's Reel Lites. I drug my feet on ordering some from Bob before he past on.

I got a 2600 lumen 48 inch led from fishinglightsect.com and it works beautifully. It floats with the LEDs pointed down. Cost around 120 bucks. It's not a hydro glo but it works great.

I'm going to try making my own. I bought a 15 ft string of green LED's. I'll get a fluorescent bulb protective plastic shield, cap one end and seal it, put a weight in it, stuff some LED's into it, run the wires out of another sealed cap, plastic coat the ends of it and try it out. I'll post photos (if I ever remember to buy the fluorescent bulb shield so I can start) as it progresses. And I'll probably just tape a line to the outside of it to lower it down to the depth I want to fish.

I have one of Bobs reel lights, have never caught a fish around it.
Have always used it on one side of the boat and a Walmart reflector
with a 50 watt 12 volt bulb on the other side, catch all my fish around
the white light. What am I doing wrong?.

I was thinking about a 24" Hydroglow. Stopped at the tackle shop and counted the number of LED's Hydroglow has 318. Looked at Fishinglightsect 24"Super Brite LED that Boch mentioned and they have 480 and cheaper too.

A few extra pennies and you can get the 48 inch and everyone on the lake at night can catch fish. . Im very impressed with their products.
