Man I want to get back in that lake so bad that I can taste it. The biggest bream that I have ever seen came out of Iamonia. Huge crappie too. Hard lake to fish but worth the effort. Smitty and I have been talking about taking a trip down there this spring to fish Iamonia and Talquin. There are a lot of great lakes in that area, too many to fish in a week.

Yep, the fish in Iamonia are coming back in form real good. Miccosukkee, which is identical type water but bigger lake, will be producing slabs by next year.

My fishing pard went the day before alone and landed a 2.5 lber, had to reach in with his hand after the slab snapped his ultralight in two!

July 6 we caught 30, and over half were more than a lb apiece.
