    Yes he does or did. Started his plastics business with the first tube lures for bass fishing.

    He passed away in 2006, at the young age of 67. He had sold his name a couple years prior. It's been sold once more, now being owned by Gene Larew Lures.

    Bass fisherman should be just as familiar with the name, if not more so.
