    Default bucksaw ramp


    was planning on hitting it saturday and sunday with a buddy... he said he talked to the lady at bucksaw lodge and she said that they had an ice storm and that the ramp was frozen? hoping with the warmer temp's thursday and friday it will thaw out... if anyone has any updated info on the ramp condition's toward's the end of the week it would be greatly appreciated thank's
    why do today what you can put off til tomorrow, go fishing instead!!!

    Wonder if we could chip in as C.C members to keep the ramp open during frozen times. Wouldn't cost much for the DE-icer. Ask to see how much it would take and make a collection during fall and spring camp there to pay for it for the year. Just thinking outside the box here, since they keep the ramp fee free for us.

    Take some rock salt with ya and spread it on the ramp.Give it 15 min. and go fishing
    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    thank's bigby,,, i got cabin fever,,, so come hell or high water i'm getting out to feel a thump, even if it's on my head from beagle alway's carry salt melt with me in the winter. but nice to know what to expect before i drive 100 mile's

    Hey, Jeff. I spoke with Richard today and he said that he wasn't sure if Bucksaw was open, but that the Grand would be open from Long Shoal on down - and that Berry Bend would probably be open as well.
