What lakes are you planning to fish in Lake County? If you are fishing the Harris Chain, I like to fish with a darker jig body with a chartreuse tail in the stained water. I like black or purple with a marabou/hair tail if I'm in the weeds.
If you are fishing the Clermont Chain, which has darker water, I like to fish lighter colors like bubblegum, acid rain, etc. There's my two cents.

Thanks, i was thinking Harris or Griffin.

There are also a couple small "ponds" in my neighbor hood that have some spots that are 8 ft, the water is pretty clear in them.
