in baitmate. Anyone ever done this?

I have three colors soaking now for this weekend IF I get to go.

Hoping it will give me the "edge" over my fishing partner....:D

I haven't soaked them, but have sprayed them already with the enzines, and it seemed to help a little.
What kind of jigs are you using? plastic tubes of hair/feather jigs?
If you use tubes, their is a guy on the louisiana board that makes a pump that will put the crappie nibbles inside the tubes for longer effectiveness. If you are interested, here's the link http://thebaitpump.com/ good luck on your trip.

They are plastic jigs in small ziplock pakages that they were purchased in.

    Default soaking

Don't be suprised if the jigs/tubes all turn the color of the bait mate and yours hands smell like it for a while. Kinda messy and not all that more productive.

I'm with PieEye on this one, it's messy and they'll change colors.

Wemake our own soft plastic jigs and we have used scents on some. We found that the jigs work just as well without the scent and are not at all messy. I have not used any scent in about two years and the fish just eat up the jigs.

I noticed the color change today. And it leaked into the paper bag also, and it will be messy.

Don't know if it will make a difference yet...
